Decisions, decisions...

I finished my interview with Burbank on a hot and stifling day. Everything that could have gone wrong before the interview did. My only black slacks' zipper broke (I'm a fatty!), I forgot my good lipstick, my shirt almost melted when I tried to iron it (I had the iron on high for a cotton blend fabric), and my jacket wouldn't close >_<.

I was supposed to leave my place by 10:30, but Bebeh called and offered to help. We were encouraged to practice in front of an actual person. I did as much as I could in front of the mirror before the interview. I guess it helped. While Bebeh stitched my broken zipper, I rambled on with my answers. I ended up leaving at around 11:45am. My interview was at 12:30. I got there without getting lost at around 12:15. The parking was for 1 hr only on the street. I got to the third floor and I am met with a closed door. I knock a few times and no one answers, but I hear people talking. I wonder if I should just go in. I wait and sit in the lobby for 15 mins until my time.

I finally meet with someone and they tell me to wait a bit. I wait till 12:40ish. I come in and am met with 3 school psychs. One younger psych comes in 5 mins later. They are pretty nice, but you know anything could happen. Surprisingly, it went pretty smooth. At one point, I thought I was too honest and thought it could have broken my interview. I also nearly blanked out, but was able to pull myself together. So after what seemed like forever, my interview ended and I walk out seeing another guy ready to be slaughtered next. I am glad its over and drive home hoping to find pants. I didn't find any and had to make my way to school.

Today, I get an 818 call. I look at it and immediately think it could be Burbank. It was. They offered me an internship position and I am very happy :) I have until May 4th to let them know. I have the LA interview on Monday, which is my first choice just because it's closer and I am familiar with their training, but Burbank seems like a nice district too. I am torn. But at least now, I am certain to have an internship position :) Yey me! haha. Now to get back to work.
