Welcome 2010

In five months I will be gradutating from grad school! Yey! Somehow it feels so anti-climactic. But anyway, the year has been great so far. I do have a lot of work to do that I hoped to get done over break (that was wishful thinking). Anyway I had Christmas Eve at my parents' house and Christmas day/New Year's Eve at my grandparents' house. The house was the fullest its been in a long time. We had a lot of fun playing Bomber Man on the PS3, taking pictures, going to the park, and eating a lot of food. I even got to bring Bebeh into the action for a little bit :) Next Christmas and New Years Eve will probably be even better. I will be a School Psychologist by then with a stressful and paying job :) and Bebeh and I will be able to relax more I think.

As 2010 brings a year of hope for most of the world, it is also optimistic for me as well. My goal, not resolution, is to definitely eat healthier. I need to lower my sweet intake, and eat more veggies, and take in more liquid. I will help bebeh with that too. He has a gym membership, but I don't have the time or money to be doing that right now. I have started my healthy eating by buying some healthy cook books. Hopefully those will motivate me rather than arbitrarily starting an unstructured or unreasonable diet. It's hard dieting when you tend to not eat at the right time, then gorge yourself with take out at the very end of the day.

Also, I will be applying for jobs in the next month, and presenting at our CASP convention on Demotivation with my friend Suzy. That will be fun. I just need to book a fllight and room. This will be in March, so I'm not quite sure where, how long, and how much. I don't think I'll be driving up to SF though. I've only driven down and not up.

School and internship starts back in a few days, so I need to kind of jump start and get my things ready, stock up on food, and start with my endless writing. For those of you who still have time before the rush of work and school, check out Sherlock Holmes. Great movie :) I'd skip Avatar, but tha'ts just me being me.
