When weirdos unite

Got back from the party about 1am. So tired. Had a lot of fun. They totally went all out decorating the place. I should have taken a picture of the kitty litter cake ^^. I didn't dare try to eat it, but Al said it tasted good XP. We has a costume contest and Danny won for scariest. I'll post the picture later. Among the weirdos at the party was Captain America (who looked more like the tick) who won best costume. I told him to do the "titty dance" but alas the captain's muscles were too hard lol.

My fave costume couple were Peg and Al. They did an awesome job especially with Al's "No Ma'm" shirt. Pure Genius. They won most original. Amy was a french maid and Mar was the grim reaper, although we all said he was Skeletor XD (vote or I'll kill you!" hahaha). There was a sumo wrestler, Roy was the Pope and there was a priest as well, a cow girl, Athena, a vamp, viking, bar wench, Wonder Woman, Master Yoda, a zombie, mafia girl and guy, Pee Wee Herman (lol j/k) um I guess he's a vampire...least that's what he said ^^, a gypsy, an otaku (okay so it's probably NOT a costume) ooh one of my faves was the wolf in Grandma's clothing.

I should have taken a pic before he got tired of wearing the mask ^^. Danny looked like that guy from Buffy. Alex was a pirate for the party the night before but came costumeless this time (lame!). Beano was Penny Wise (he was daymn scary and annoying >_<), and I think I saw a mummy somewhere and another zombie. Those are the ones that left an impression on me. I can't rememeber the others o_o but we had fun. I tried to get Mar to dance, but alas he prefered to remain silent waving his reaper staff and offered snacks >_>.

Since I had to go to LA early next morning, so I had to keep sober. I wanted to try the jello shots though D: Al had a beer all night in his hand. He was a pretty happy drunk. He assured me that he didn't do shots though. Who knows. Anyway the party was pretty fun. We won a box/jar full of assorted candybars. Good stuff. Oh and what was I? Well people kept saying Princess Diaries (Anne Hathaway) lol. I guess I looked a lot more like that than Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's. Not many would get it anyway if they aren't familiar with those types of movies. Craven said "What are you an Asian supermodel?" -__-. He was supposed to help me with airbrushing my scary makeup until I decided to bail on the scary thing cause I couldn't find the right clothes for my scary outfit. I'll probably do that for Halloween night instead. We were in a rush, so I wasn't able to get my hair colored or styled right. I still need to buy a thick layer of pearls and a better black dress. I found a perfect one at Ann Taylor on sale for $85. I found so many awesome fall clothes at the outlets T^T. I even saw the cutest Coach Shoes ($253 X:) I officially declare Fall my favorite season for awesome clothing. If we weren't so pressed for time I would have gone broke instantly.

Next day I was invited to Alexa's birthday. I was so tired from the party, but I had to go to LA the next day. After I got done with hospital duty I went to the party. It was at Chucky Cheese's :D. I bought some stuff from the Disney store and then went to the party. We had ice cream cake, a lot of pizza and mozzerella sticks and pwned all the kids who sat at the super trivia bowl section (mwahaha). Shawn and I rounded up all the tickets and got air guns! We got 5 and gave one to Alexa. We ended up shooting each other around the place and kinda stopped cause parents were giving us mean looks ^^. Ooh I also got a kickass pencil! They had lame prizes, but that gun was a lot of fun. I haven't been to Chucky Cheese's ever I think. When we lived in Las Vegas I remember going to Pistol Pete's Pizza. Essentially it was the same thing, but from what i remember, alot bigger and a lot more fun. We had a huge play area with a ball pool. Alas this one didn't have that, but at least the food was aright. After which we got home and I was so tired I actually went to bed at 11pm. I was so glad DST is over. It's fall back to normal now so I have an extra hour :D Well I need to upload those pictures so I'll end it here.

Halloween woes

As Halloween looms near, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with the multitude of things I have to accomplish in the next two weeks. Mar and Amy are having their popular annual Halloween costume party and I'm still unsure of what to dress up as. I haven't really dressed up for Halloween since I was a kid. There were a few exceptions when I was a teenager but I never really bought a costume. Now I have to step it up a bit. They really go all out every year. Marv already spent $250 on prosthetics, contacts and costume.

Eric is also giving me a hard time since he wants to be Roxas, so I'm helping make the keyblade and the clothes. What a pain. Knowing me, I don't do things half assed, so I have to make sure the costume is decent enough for me not to criticize it as a cheap attempt.

Tomorrow I'll be going to the Art Institute with my brother to check out the campus and their programs. Tuition there is pretty steep since it is a private school. -_-; He better do well! Tomorrow I also have two parties to attend after I get back from the orientation, so I'll be rushing. Hopefully I'll be home by 5pm so I can go to one party, stay till 6 and get to the next party by 8ish. *wah* when am I going to be able to put my costume together?!

Lucky 13

Yes it is Friday the 13th of October. It is my grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary. It is also Donald Duck's birthday. Thirteen also happens to be my grandmother's lucky number and in a way, it's kinda been mine too. I've never really had bad luck or anything on Friday the 13th, but moreso, I tend to have a bit of good luck. Hmm, maybe something cool is gonna happen today. ^^

Apparently Clinton is gonna be on campus to promote Prop 87 (higher taxes and unregulated spending for researching alternative forms of energy). I wonder where. My guess is that it'll be in Ackerman. Anyway it's gloomy and cold. I wonder if a ton of people are going to be at the rally o_O. Bruin Republicans unite! No on 87! I'm all for alternative forms of energy, but spending $4 Bil on something that may not even produce results is kinda shady to me. If you take that much of my tax dollars, I want results. Spend wisely and try working on our current energy use now (solar, hydrogen, wind, ethanol, natural gas, etc.) before working on what we 'possibly' 'might' or 'might not' really use later on. -_-

Most prizoners from other countries are tortured, beaten and starved to death. That is far from the case for the prizoners at Guantanamo Bay. Not only are these guys allowed up to 2 hrs of exercise a day, but they've also gained alot of weight since their incarceration. They even get meals served and prepared especially made for their religious worship. Who knew we treated our prisoners so good? Take that you liberal bastard hippies! This is why we can't win the war. We're being too kind to our enemies while they bomb our land and kill our people, we gorge them with food and fund their military. Why do we have so many rules that go against our favor? Aren't we supposed to begin charity at home and secure our lives first before others? Why do we do this you ask? Because democrats are a bunch of whiny bastards who don't really give a * for this country.

On a different note, the Death Note Anime is out and Garten has a full review of the new episode along with summary, screen caps and the OP PV Nightmare's "The World" at Memento.
