Jimmy Eat World Clarity Tour 2009 @ Club Nokia, Los Angeles
Flat out most awesome Jimmy Eat World Concert I've ever been to. Club Nokia was really nice and since we were one of the first 50 there of the 2600 people, we got bracelets for the pit :DSince Marv is on twitter, he was able to get a shot with some of the people at the show through the band's twitter and got his face plastered on the JEW website. I'm so dead tired cause I drove, rocked out, stood for 7 hours in heals and ate at Sunehiro in J town and saw a few people from the concert there as well. Strange. I guess only a few places are open that late at night (definitely one of the only ones I knew of that was still open). All in all, awesome night. I still need to upload the pictures. I have a few shots, but mostly video of the event on the memory card that was with me. For the first time, there was no mosh pitt (Clarity is not condusive for moshing), so I was glad. The place was definitely one of the nicer places, if not the nicest concert venue I've ever been to. All in all, the late night driving, pain of standing, long workday was well worth attending a once in a lifetime show with Jimmy that close. I was right at the foot of the stage with one skinny girl in front of me. :)
